Maui Volcano Tour Guests Loved Their Informative, Professional Guides

Although our Maui volcano tours of Haleakalā are self-paced downhill bike tours, guests are given an informative narrated van tour about the area and bike route as they are driven to the summit of Haleakalā. On this narrated van ride that travels on the same route guests will later bike down, guests are given detailed information about the route, points of interest they will see along the way, facts about Hawaiian culture, and places they can stop to eat or shop at along the route. Thus, they have all the information they need to have a fun and safe Maui volcano tour, but with our self-paced bike tours, they also have the freedom to explore Upcountry Maui at their own pace and on their own timetable. Mahalo for your kindness in hooking us up on your fantastic trip. It truly was a highlight and the memory will forever be etched into my brain. It was exhilarating and unique; you’ve really cornered a market there! And what a treat it was. Thank you again – it really was so special. Liz was reduced to tears watching the sunrise; she says she’s never seen such a thing. It’s so magical that you made that happen and touched her heart. Natalie was a wonderful, fun, intelligent and gentle guide.

Guests From Australia Love Our “Ride at Your Own Pace” Haleakala Bike Rides

Aloha Maui Sunriders team,

We are back home in Australia now with very fond memories of our time in Hawaii.

We rated our viewing of Sunrise on Mt Haleakalā followed by the ride down to sea level on Mon 08 Sep as one of the highlights of our visit. In particular the ability to ride at our own pace and stop as we wanted to with a relatively free return time made it most enjoyable. It was a great experience with adventure and pleasant varying scenery. Special thanks to our guides, especially their attention to safety.

The ride at your own pace aspect is one thing that stands your tour apart and we would certainly recommend it to others and our travel agent.
