Although our Maui volcano tours of Haleakalā are self-paced downhill bike tours, guests are given an informative narrated van tour about the area and bike route as they are driven to the summit of Haleakalā. On this narrated van ride that travels on the same route guests will later bike down, guests are given detailed information about the route, points of interest they will see along the way, facts about Hawaiian culture, and places they can stop to eat or shop at along the route. Thus, they have all the information they need to have a fun and safe Maui volcano tour, but with our self-paced bike tours, they also have the freedom to explore Upcountry Maui at their own pace and on their own timetable.
