Dawn begins to break over the Haleakalā volcanoOn Tuesday March 17th, the Governor of Hawaii has announced new updates to travel, laws, quarantines, etc. All tour operators across Hawaii have been asked to stop immediately. Due to the current situation with Covid-19, all Maui Sunriders Bike Tours and Rentals will stop as of March 18th 2020.

With respect to our Maui Ohana, community, guests, fellow cyclists and to protect the islands, we will be suspending all tours and bike rentals until further notice.

We are very sorry for this but we are all managing the changes the best we can. We truly hope to serve you and your family in the future and possibly for a lifetime of bike adventures ahead.

As you would imagine – many tour and activity operators around the world are currently facing a challenging time. We’re confident that travel will bounce back quickly in the future. For many local small/family owned businesses right now the current situation is challenging for everyone.

The governor also asked visitors to stop all travel to Hawaii for the next 30 days. Starting Friday, March 20th, new restrictions begin where no one except essential business operations in government, healthcare and grocery establishments can leave their home to go to work. Dine-in restaurants must all close and road closures are in effect for locals only around the island, including Hana.

We will always act with the safety in mind for all of our guests. We hope to return to business as soon as it’s feasible. If you have an upcoming reservation with us please email us with any questions you may have.

Take care – ikaika mau (stay strong),

Maui Sunriders Bike Co..
